Okasan Japanese Restaurant in Port Angeles

A good place. A bit pricey and ordering off menu is not recommended. But the service is excellent, and the fish is tasty and fresh.

Pretty good place to eat, there is one server that you need to consistently remind about what you ordered or she will forget, beer is skunky 9 times out of 10, but the main courses are usually good.

Really small portions for what you'd expect from typical sushi place. Pickled ginger tasted musty. Squid salad was best part. Just spent 50$ with partner and had to go get taco bell afterwards to fill the voids which remained. Not normally feisty reviewer but when the waiter was playing video games on his phone instead of checking on us I drew the line.

Amazing Japanese food at an even more amazing price. We had the Okasan lunch set which was generous in portion. I had expected each side item to come in only 1-2 pieces, but they came in pieces of 4. Extremely reasonably priced. It was one of our best meals in the Sequim/Port Angeles area.

If you want to eat flies in your food go here. I'm appalled I even have to give a star. The chef and server where heard laughing about the flies in the miso soup and they continued to serve out the soup. Definitely calling a health inspector.

There is a smoked fish sushi roll that is really good if you like smoked fish try this. The only other sushi I had was a California roll. I got the order to go and the wait was short but it was after 730. It was good but needed more wasabi. There is a bigger menu I haven't got to explore yet but when I do I'll update this but I still give it 5* because the 2 times I've got sushi here it was good. The service is good the decor is really nice. Restrooms were clean. If you want sushi this is your place.

Very good food at reasonable prices in a comfortable atmosphere. We both got the dinner special which includes soup, salad, rice, vegetables, noodles, California roll, and the main course. It was all very tasty and a lot to eat for about $15 each. It is refreshing to go to a restaurant where you don't have to strain to carry on a conversation.

My husband & I are retired & traveling the states. Can't begin to tell you how hard it can be to find a GOOD sushi restaurant in a place you've never been before....Okasan is FABULOUS!!! The fish is so fresh & prepared beautifully. Enjoyed each and every roll we had. We also shrimp, octopus & sea clam. I'd highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who truly enjoys sushi & sashimi.

I always come for the sushi! It was my mom's first time there & now it's not gonna be her last. Great customer service 👍🏼

Great sushi, fair prices. Lots of great specially rolls. Non sushi food is good as well. Crispy chicken is one of my favorites. Usually can always find open tables. I prefer to call in for pickup.

Quality was spot on as was service. Prices a bit steep, but I am used to a $1/sushi Monday (hamachi included) and stuff me up bowls for $5 in the city. Also as a small business the customer eats the 3% on credit purchase. Overall a great place to dine.

Oh my goodness! What a hidden gem this establishment is. The Korean food is spot on amazing! Be warned, if you order spicy food...you will get your money's worth in sweet pain. Authentic Korean food served here, so don't be shy to try a Korean dish. Do not be put off by the looks of the outside of this establishment. You will be pleasantly surprised.

This is really a good place as long as you have time as there is often on one waiter/waitress. The sushi is excellent and fresh. The yakisoba is also great. If you're looking for a variety I'd suggest the tempura platter. There is a good selection of sake and beer.

I come here for sushi often and have never been disappointed. Mr Kim does great work and has a lot of experience. The decor is nice and they have a decent selection of drinks. On occasion I've had a lackluster server but not enough to detract me from coming here. Definitely a great place to visit if you're a sushi lover.

Eaten here twice in three weeks and the food service atmosphere is all worth five stars!!! The staff are lovely and the chefs behind the curtains make amazing food. My picky eater kids love the food.

Amazing that's all I can say. I have been disappointed only one time, maybe they didnt have the regular cook. Very Very good fresh food.

Service was very slow and it smelled fishy In there. If you smell fish It's no fresh!

Got some take out. This is what they call teriyaki. It's by far the worst teriyaki I've ever had. Never again.
